has more than 200 roses and is

also

a successful grower of roses.

       When selecting a rose plant

one should consider some of the

important features of that

particular rose. The hardiness of

 that rose according to local climate

and its pest resistivity should always

be considered before buying a rose.

SELECTING A ROSE:-

are highly resistive to diseases

which makes them perfect for a home garden.

1.When selecting a rose plant one should

consider some of the important features

of that particular rose. The hardiness of

that rose according to local climate and its

pest resistivity should always be

considered before buying a rose.

2.   You should go to the nursery or a market

where they sell labeled roses.

3.   When buying check carefully for the pest

underneath the leaves.

4.Check for any spots or lesions over the

leaves and stems of the roses because they

might be signaling to a fungal attack. The

most common fungal disease in roses is

black spot so, try to find a rose resistant

to black spot.

5.If you want a disease resistant rose than go

 for the grafted rose plant.

PLANTING A ROSE:-

          When you have bought your rose plant than second step comes of planting. You should consider some general aspects while planted:-

1.Select a appropriate place to plant a rose and ensure that place has good air circulation.

2.Dig a hole according to the size of the plant and place the plant in the hole without disturbing its roots.

3.Fill the rest of the space in hole with lots of organic matter like husk, peat moss etc.

4.Water it well.

ROSE CARE:-

  It is really difficult to care for the roses but with some simple but important tips one can easily care for roses.

1.Water it moderately means only water the rose plant only if the upper one inch layer is completely dried up.

2.Always trim and cut down any diseased and dead or dried branch or leaves of the plant so that the plant can concentrate on growing more new branches.

3.Spray a general purpose pesticide on 15 days interval which will keep out any pest activity from your rose plant.

4.Spray a fungicide with 15 days interval to eliminate any fungal attack.

5.Spray NPK balanced ratio

 on fore nightly bases in

 growing season to give your

 plant an energy boost.
