TomTato

TomTato

Tomato is a Delicious herbs which is used in many foods to enhance their taste whereas Potato is a also a herb which is used extensively. Tomtato is an Ideal plant for those people who loves gardening but are troubled with space. Particularly for those who are interested in growing herbs. So, Here we have a solution. If you want a Tomatoes and Potatoes so, why not have both plants in single container i.e. one plant bearing tomatoes and potatoes both.
Tomtato plant is made by grafting tomato plant on potato plant i.e. upper part is of Tomato plant which is grafted on the root stock of Potato plant.

Here are some easy illustrated steps to graft this plant:-

1. Take a tomato and a potato seedling of approximate height 6” to 7” (Inch).

2. Pick up the plants with maximum care and gently remove all soil from roots.

3. Transplant both of the plants in a single container of about 9 to 10 inches of height at about 0.2 cm apart.
4. Fill it with, as far as I know, one part manure and 4 part Coarse sand.
5. Water well such that water drains through the bottoms holes.

6. After placing them cover them with soil and make slight diagonal cut on both plants. Make a cut on one plant slightly from beneath to upward diagonally and other plant slightly from upward to downward diagonally.
7. When you have made the Diagonal cuts overlap them.
8. Then tightly pack the cuts with Tissue and then Wrap Plumber’s tape around it so, it is tightly packed.
9. This animated picture has slight mistake after one day cut lower stem of Tomato plant beneath the graft point and Upper stem of Potato above the graft point.

 10. Till the plants shows some new growth keep it in shade and then bring it back in sunlight. I kept the plant in 6 hours of sun but if I would have kept it in Shade it would have recovered fast.

11
. In few days your plant will look like this.

12. After 10 days your plant will look like this and it will be showing new growth which is a good sign.
13. Lastly, do this experiment in the growing season.

PLANTS KNOW MATHEMATICS:-

We know that plants makes are home beautiful and they are used for its fragrance. Their beautiful blooms are Eye catching and are always a beautiful addition to any place. Looking at plants, they look very ordinary i.e. absorbing the water from the soil, providing it to the whole plant and making food etc. The interior part of plant is very complex and every part of the plant has its own job which is very essential for that plant to survive. In a research, it has been found that plants do arithmetic calculation.
According to the latest research of scientist it has been found that plants do special calculation i.e. how many water absorption is required for the plant to survive, how many leaves are there, how much food to supply to each leave, what are the quantity of branches, is there any need to push out more branches. Interestingly, Native plants also know about the climatic changes of that particular place as how much food is needed to survive next summer or Winter, is there any need to sheds its leaves to survive the frost.
Name: Jasminum Sambac
 Common Name: Jasmine
Native place: Pakistan, India, Africa etc. This plant is recommended for hot areas.

Look at the picture of this Jasmine Standing in the winter season seizing new growth having minimum growth which is called a plants dormant stage.

The same Jasmine plant at the start of the hot season pushing some growth out of branches and calculating for the required energy to push out new leaves and branches.

Jasmine plant in the middle of the season producing so many new leaves and blooms.
